The World

A Land Rich With History

Runeweld is the beginning, not the boundary. Roads, seas, caves, towers and old settlements lead outward into a connected world that gradually reveals itself.

Runeweld

Runeweld

Runeweld is the shared starting point for new adventurers and one of the game's most important permanent hubs. It contains early services, characters and quest threads, and it also anchors the player-housing district.

New players should spend time talking to people and learning the town rather than immediately trying to leave. Several early systems are introduced naturally through Runeweld.

Towns & Cities

Other settlements have their own services, quests, characters and regional identities. As the game progresses, places such as Thenton, Beacom, Katon, Yaston, Manarch and further settlements become part of a much broader route through Erdrick.

Wilds & Overworld

The overworld is not only connective tissue. Terrain, encounter regions, travel routes and geographic obstacles shape how you move between objectives. Some locations are obvious; others require clues, abilities, vessels or completed progression.

Dungeons, Caves & Towers

Expect traditional multi-floor locations, hazards, encounters, locked or gated progression and specialist areas. Some dungeons are short regional diversions; others are major quest destinations.

Sea & Vessels

World travel eventually expands beyond roads. Boats and other vessels connect islands, ports and regions that cannot be reached on foot, while sea encounters make travel itself part of the adventure.

Points of Interest

Not every important place is a town. Shrines, ruins, hidden islands, caves, quest landmarks and unusual world entities reward exploration and attention to dialogue.
